Each search is typically divided into the following phases:

DISCOVERY/NEEDS ANALYSIS

•  Develop the position description

QUALFICATIONS/EVALUATION

•  Identify qualified candidates through targeted research, database review, and direct
sourcing with executives in the field, as well as internally generated candidates — all with
a focus on diversity

•  Interview candidates to assess their strengths and limitations

•  Present best qualified candidates to client/search committee

CONSIDERATION/SELECTION

•  Work with the client to schedule and orchestrate candidate interviews, constantly
consulting with the client and candidates throughout the process

•  Conduct reference checks on successful candidates

•  Facilitate offer, negotiation and acceptance
